APPA (Amigos para la Protección de Animales de Álamos)  

Mission Statement:  To end the numbers of homeless and suffering animals in Alamos and municipality.  To protect animals from abuse, neglect, and exploitation, and to inspire awareness and compassion for all living things through education. 
 
To establish a permanent clinic and shelter, as well as a mobile clinic; to embark on a full-scale "Spay and Neuter Program";  to stop the reproduction of unwanted animals; to work towards changing the law to prohibit abuse of animals; and to instigate a law enforcing each and every animal to be registered and licensed with the City of Alamos.

Annual Membership: Fees are based on your decision. Fees range from $50 pesos/year for Siamese membership up to $10,000/year for Dalmation membership.
